Within about a week, I’ll have purchased tickets for two different concerts in the next 11 months. I love having something to look forward to on the calendar and concerts are a great example of that.

Dear Dave, I’m beginning to feel some bitterness and resentment towards my parents for their recent decisions and financial irresponsibility. Fifteen years ago, while I was still in school, they left good-paying jobs to enter the ministry.

As expected, the property tax working group made more progress last Monday, but we still do not have a final draft. A last meeting is scheduled for July 22 to pull together final thoughts.

Our 11-year-old may look exactly like his dad, but turns out he thinks about food all the time like me. He always wants to know what we’re having for meals and is starting to turn up his nose more and more at the response of “leftovers.
