April 4, 2022 With just eight days left in the 107 th Legislature, major progress was made last week in getting the budget passed that included specific items that will impact our District.

Dear Dave, Our son is in high school, and he has a part-time job. He makes good grades, and we have always tried to teach him how to save and handle money according to your advice. He has even managed to set aside a few thousand dollars for college.

Greetings to all! We have had a great week. We have enjoyed current events, looking at Facebook enjoying all of the kids dressed up for prom, upper body stretches, watching TV, reading short stories, church with Sherron Sullivan, pet therapy and sitting outside.

Dear Dave, My husband and I are getting a divorce, and everything will be final in less than a month. I haven’t worked outside the home in a few years, but according to the terms of the divorce I’ll receive $75,000 in cash on the day the divorce is finalized.
