Kearney - The fourth annual Nebraska Beef Passports are now available at www. GoodLifeGreatSteaks.org. The Nebraska Beef Council sponsored program officially began May 1st and features over 50 restaurants and independent meat processors across the state that offer outstanding beef.

Annual Girl Scout Day Camp held

Fishing, hiking, campfire, fresh air, outhouses, games, flag ceremonies and songs were all part of Girl Scout Day Camp last week.Girls gathered at the grade school each morning at 9.The first day Pastor Bill and Pastor Shanon helped them fish (in a drizzle).

A Hooker County 4-H Fun Day will be held on Sunday, June 2 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Hooker County Fairgrounds. Come out and play some water games!The event is open to anyone in 4-H or those interested in enrolling, age 5-18 by Jan. 1.
