Mobile food pantry to be Saturday

A drive through mobile food pantry will be in Mullen on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9-11:00 a.m. at the Hooker County Fairgrounds. Everyone is welcome - no documentation needed. Call the Mullen Assembly of God at 308-546-2253 with any questions. This event is sponsored by Food Bank for the Heartland.

‘Steel Magnolias’ to be in North Platte

The North Platte Community College Theater Department will join forces with the North Platte Community Playhouse to present “Steel Magnolias” Nov. 10-12 and Nov. 17-19. Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. CT Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. CT Sundays.

They knew the recordbreaking attendance number before the rest of the world. The iconic attendance Stadium on the night of Aug. 30 was the work of Fantasy Drone Shows, a Norfolk-based aerial entertainment company.

‘The Queen’s Gambit’ to be discussed

sophomore Della Haesler is a single mother of four children. She grew up in Lomira, Wisconsin, with her half brother, Gene Johnson, and her sister, Dawn Mallory. She graduated high school at Lomira High School. After high school, Della did not go straight into college.
