Bob and Peggy Marsh traveled to North Platte Thursday. While in North Platte, Peggy visited Dorothy James and Linda Cox at Linden Court. Grandkids Hadley and Kyler Marsh stayed overnight at the ranch Friday and throughout the day Saturday.

United Women in Faith hold meeting

United Women in Faith met Wednesday, May 17th in the senior high room of the church with four members present. President Sue Bonesteel opened the meeting. Concerns and joys were given.

Vacation Bible School is next week

Mullen Methodist Vacation Bible School will be next week, June 12-16, 9 a.m. to noon each day. It is going to be “Monumental!” The program and a potluck lunch will be held Sunday, June 18 at 11 a.m. All are welcome. VBS is for children ages potty trained 3-year-olds to sixth grade.

2-D Properties LLC, Richard Licking and Richard Burrious, have been working on tearing down old properties on the east side of Mullen’s Main Street. The old Dutton house is gone and the old Marker apartments across the street (pictured last Wednesday) are now a pile of rubble.
