Candidate forum luncheon to be in Mullen Sunday, April 24

Still wondering who to vote for in this upcoming gubernatorial election? Or not know enough about one single candidate? Well don’t worry because a town hall is happening on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Hooker County Community Center at the fairgrounds.

Work has began on N-97 Mullen south this week

Work has began on N-97, from reference post 56+87 to reference post 66+96, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Paulsen Inc., of Cozad, Nebraska, is the prime contractor. Work includes grading, asphalt surfacing, drainage structures, erosion control, and seeding.
