Six candidates attend forum held in Mullen last month

by Judy White Sunday, April 26, a candidate forum was held in Mullen at the old nursing home.Six candidates presented 5 minute speeches about themselves and their platforms. Af-terwards numerous questions were asked to the candidates from the audience.

Hooker County received a $15,000 grant from the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation Bob & Susan Childers Betterment Grant towards the heater and propane tank install at the new Hooker County maintenance building located near the Hooker County Fairgrounds.

North Platte - The Central States Center for Agricultural Safety and Health (CS-CASH) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health, in partnership with Nebraska Extension, has announced the dates for its annual tractor and equipment safety training courses.
