High school rodeo results from Lexington

High school rodeo fall season begins

by Gerri PetersonThe Nebraska High School Rodeo Association’s fall season kicked off last weekend in Bassett. This year five Mullen Broncos will be on the rodeo trail - junior Cooper Walker, sophomores Brynne McCully and Emerson Thorberg and freshmen Kaisley Phipps and Audrabell Werth.

Mullen well-represented at camp

Seven Mullen athletes attended one of the Mike Trader Mid-America Basketball Camps held at Grand Island Central Catholic this summer, earning multiple awards.

The Mullen Golf Club 3 Person Scramble was held Sunday, July 27 during the Hooker County Fair.Cole, Kyle and Chip Kramer and Shane Carr, JW Schmid and Jason Cheney tied with a 62, with Kramers winning on a card playoff.
