by Toni Massey, MHS sophomore On Saturday, Dec. 2 the Mullen Wrestling boys hosted their first tournament of the 2023/24 season. They hosted 19 other teams and placed 10th with 55 points.

Lady Broncos win at Sutherland, 45-38

by Gerri Peterson The D2 Lady Bronco basketball team opened their season at D1 Sutherland last Thursday, Nov. 30, coming home with a 45-38 victory. Leading the Broncos was sophomore Hayley Donohoe with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. She also had 2 steals and 1 assist.

Broncos make second half comeback to win opener

by Kyle Finney, MHS senior On Thursday, Nov. 30 the Mullen Broncos traveled to Sutherland to start their basketball season. Mullen got out to a very slow start, they were down 16-21 at the end of the first half.

Gracey awarded Gary Hoyt Outstanding Wrestler Award

MHS senior Chase Gracey was awarded the Gary Hoyt Outstanding Wrestler Award at the Mullen Invite on Saturday, Dec. 2. The head coaches of all the teams voted for the award at the end of the tournament to determine the recipient. The following was read when the award was presented.
