Broncos win at Twin Loup, struggle at Gordon-Rushville

Mullen Broncos traveled to Twin Loup (Sargent/Taylor) for another regular season game. The Broncos immediately took control of the game when they ended the first quarter with a lead of 22-3. That trend kept up the rest of the game to win with a final score of 56-15.

Boys basketball team ends last week with 8-2 record

by Alex Moore, MHS senior On Tuesday, Jan. 10th, Mullen boys and girls went down to North Platte to play North Platte St. Pat’s Irish in a regular season game. During the boys’ game it was a back and forth battle the entire time. At the end o f the first quarter the Broncos held the lead 13-11.

Lady Broncos end last week with 5-5 record

by Jadyn Andersen, MHS junior Last week the Mullen Lady Broncos had a good week playing three games. In their first game of the week against St. Pat’s on Tuesday, Jan. 10, the girls fell short with the final score being 18-50. They played hard despite the final outcome.

A busy week for MHS wrestling

by Toni Massey, MHS freshman On Thursday, Jan. 12 the Mullen wrestling boys traveled to a triangular against Brady and Maxwell. Mullen first dueled against Maxwell. Starting with weight class 220, Tel Kvanvig pinned Jacob Copper in 1:02 seconds. 285, Issac Welch received a forfeit.

Mullen youth wrestlers begin season
